Abstracts should be prepared according to the guidelines provided below.

Abstracts should be submitted electronically (see link above) before 15 December 2020, 24:00 HKT. Alternatively, abstracts may be submitted to movd2021@hku.hk as an e-mail attachment.

Abstracts should contain original work written in English.
-
Abstract should contain a title, all authors, all affiliations, and the main text.
-
Authors are suggested to provide three keywords for each abstract.

The content of the abstract is the responsibility of all author(s).
-
Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final submission.
-
Abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentations and assigned in one of the six thematic areas.

All accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website and as a supplement to the Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology (JCVP). Abstracts are accepted for publication on condition that they have not been published or accepted for publication elsewhere.

Abstracts should be submitted as a word file. Figures or tables should be sent as separate files. Figures should be jpegs or pdfs preferably. Tables should be submitted in editable format (should the author request a change during proof checking before publication in JCVP).

Maximum of 100 characters (without space)

Abbreviations should be avoided.
Authors

First author is to deliver the presentation and receive all correspondence about the abstract.

Including details of (co-)authors: name, business affiliations (department, school, agency or company, city and state etc), full postal address and corresponding e-mails
Text

Abstract text should contain no more than 300 words.

Abbreviations should be defined when first used in the text.

Please ensure that the abstract does not contain spelling, grammar or scientific notation errors.

Abstracts should follow a format of:

Introduction

Aims
-
Methods
-
Results
-
Conclusions
-

Diagrams, illustrations, graphics or tables should be avoided in the abstract but sent in as separate files
-
Do not use any quotation marks or inverted commas.

Do not mention names of the (co)authors in the abstract text.
Abstract reviewing & acceptance
-
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Advisory Committee anonymously.
-
Confirmation of acceptance will be sent before January 15, 2021 by email to the first author.
-
Instructions for oral or poster presentations will be sent on or before January 31, 2021.
Registration (presenting author)
-
The presenting author will be required to register for the symposium in order to ensure that the abstract(s) will be published.
-
The deadline for presenting author to register is January 31, 2021.
